The Dock Village Resident Manager/Occupancy Specialist is responsible for Dock Village application reviews, settlements, recertifications, as well as ensuring compliance with the affordable housing regulatory bodies. The Resident Manager/Occupancy Specialist maintains relationships with tenants and helps in planning and providing tenant events and resources. The position reports directly to the campus executive director, oversees a team of two, and is a member of the Dock Woods campus leadership team as well as the Living Branches Leadership Group.

Within Dock Woods, we are proud to offer two rental-assistance apartment complexes that serve residents whose income level meets HUD housing subsidy requirements: Dock Village for families or individuals of any age, and Dock Manor for seniors. This position will manage our Dock Village complex.

Job Requirements: Resident Manager/Occupancy Specialist Overview:
• Contacts, interviews and evaluates prospective residents in a timely manner and manages the resident waiting list to ensure expedited occupancy of vacated units.
• Processes applicant paperwork according to government procedures and regulations. Maintains accurate financial records for facility. Maintains documentation as required by regulations and organizational policies.
• Conducts residents' annual/interim recertification, move-in and move-out documents and correspondence to consultant representative for compliance and processing.
• Federal subsidized housing experience with knowledge of HUD & PHFA rules and regulations & Fed/State/County guidelines governing subsidized housing for families
• direction, set performance standards and monitor performance of team members
• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), required
• Affordable Housing management and occupancy experience, 5 years preferred
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree Preferred
